“When something can be read without effort, great effort has gone into its writing.” ~Enrique Jardiel Poncela
Meg Lynch’s Writing Skills
I am a 26-year-old graduate of Georgia Gwinnett College; my degree is in English, with a concentration in Writing and Rhetoric and a minor in Business Administration. This portfolio showcases my writing capabilities and some of the skills I learned through the duration of my college career and since. I took a variety of courses at GGC, and because of this, I am able to write in a variety of genres and styles.
I have been writing poetry and short stories since I was eleven years old, so declaring myself as an English major my sophomore year was sort of a no-brainer for me. Over the years of my undergraduate career, I learned an exponential amount of styles and techniques, specifically through the Technical Writing and Communications, News Writing, Writing and Digital Media, and Creative Writing courses.
The writings found in the Academic Writing category are examples of what I am capable of in a classroom setting, while the writings found in the Choice Blogs category are samples of my blogging style, and the writings found in the Editing Work category showcase my talents in the editing field. Finally, you may find my new poetry book in the Published Works category.
